I’m Ryan, and for the past eight years, I’ve worked as a Sport Scientist and Strength and Conditioning Coach with high-performing athletes across a variety of sports. My primary focus has been in football, where I’ve worked with clubs in the SPFL, Championship, and WoSFL, helping athletes reach new heights in their careers. Many of the athletes I’ve coached have gone on to represent their first teams, compete with national teams, and play in the SPFL, English Premier League, and English Championship.


I hold a Master of Science in Sport and Exercise Science and Medicine from the University of Glasgow and a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in Sport and Exercise from the University of the West of Scotland. Over the years, I’ve identified a significant gap in Sport Science and Strength and Conditioning support for athletes in Scotland. Limited resources, funding, and exposure have created barriers to achieving athletic potential compared to other clubs across the UK and Europe.


Driven by my passion and expertise, I founded The Sport Science Manual, where professionalism, energy, and reliability come together to offer a wide range of services. These include one-on-one and small group in-person training, as well as online coaching, covering all aspects of training, nutrition, and recovery.
